What Is This Cookie Clicker Game?

It's an idle, or incremental, clicker: a style of game where a tiny action grows into an automated machine, and the numbers get bigger the longer you play. Here the theme is baking. Every click makes cookies, and every cookie can be turned into something that makes more cookies.

This game is our own creation, with its own producers, upgrades, artwork and rules. It isn't the original Cookie Clicker and isn't affiliated with it or its creator.

How to Play

1. Click the cookie. Each click earns cookies, and you'll see the number float up from the cookie.
2. Hire producers. Open the Producers tab and buy helpers who bake cookies every second, even when you aren't clicking.
3. Buy upgrades. The Upgrades tab has tools that make each click stronger and multipliers that boost every cookie you make.
4. Catch golden cookies. They appear at random for a few seconds. Click one fast for a bonus.
5. Unlock achievements. Each one you earn gives a small permanent boost to your baking.
6. Rebake. Once you've baked enough, start fresh in exchange for Sugar Crystals that make every future run faster.

Producers and Upgrades

There are eight producers, from the Baker's Apprentice to the Time Oven. Each one costs more with every copy you own, and the Buy ×10 and ×100 options let you buy in bulk when you can afford it. Each producer's cookies per second is shown on its card.

• Click upgrades (Wooden Spoon, Silver Spatula, Golden Whisk) add cookies to every click.
• Multipliers (Butter Upgrade, Vanilla Extract, Secret Recipe) raise everything you bake.
• As your production grows, your clicks get a small bonus from it too, so clicking stays worthwhile.

Golden Cookies

Every minute or so, a golden cookie appears somewhere on the screen and stays for about 13 seconds. Click it and you'll get one of three bonuses:

• Sweet Windfall gives you a lump sum of cookies, worth about five minutes of baking.
• Production Frenzy makes your producers bake 7 times faster for 30 seconds.
• Click Frenzy makes every click worth 10 times more for 15 seconds.

The bigger your bakery, the bigger the Windfall, so they're always worth catching.

Daily Gift, Offline Earnings and Streaks

Your bakery keeps working while you're away. When you return, your producers will have made cookies at half their normal rate for up to eight hours, and the game will tell you how many.

There's also a daily gift you can claim once a day. Claim it on consecutive days to build a streak of up to seven, and the gift gets bigger with every day.

Rebake and Sugar Crystals

Once you've baked a million cookies in total, you can rebake: your cookies, producers and upgrades reset, but you keep your achievements and earn Sugar Crystals. Each crystal permanently adds 2% to everything you bake. Crystals are based on your total cookies baked across all runs, so the more you bake, the more you earn, with each new crystal requiring noticeably more cookies than the last.

Tips to Bake Faster

• Buy producers early. Anything that bakes for you pays itself back while you do other things.
• Don't ignore multipliers. A ×2 multiplier is often worth more than a handful of cheap producers.
• Save your clicks for frenzies. A Click Frenzy is a great time to click as fast as you can.
• Check in daily. The daily gift and your streak are free cookies.
• Back up your save. Export your save code now and then, especially before clearing your browser data.
